Bump Watch: Weeks 5 & 6 6

Since weeks 4 & 5 are over and week 6 of my pregnancy will be over on Wednesday, I thought that I’d keep track of my weekly progress for my second pregnancy on here. What better way to start than the end of the week?! Although my weeks change on Wednesday, I can’t really describe my weekly symptoms and experiences on the day I take my bump pictures so I decided to document each week on Sunday or Monday. I hope this gives you an idea of how you feel and what symptoms you experience early in pregnancy even though each pregnancy is different and is not the same. I did this for my first pregnancy and began documenting again in the same way for baby #2 since I found out. It’s fun and informational to compare the two pregnancies. Also, I added a workout part to keep track of how my fit pregnancy is going. 🙂

Let’s play some catch up with Week 4 & 5 so I am on track!

Week 4

How far along? 4 weeks!
Total weight gain: Nothing yet. I just found out this week!
Maternity clothes? Nope
Stretch marks? Nope
Best moment this week: Finding out we were having our little snow bunny on Monday, May 16th after a negative test taken on Friday. I surprised my hubby with a stuffed bunny saying our snow bunny is due January 2017!
Miss anything? Not getting up a bunch of times to pee at night and know that I’m normal because I now know that it’s because I am pregnant.
Movement: Nope
Food cravings: None
Gender: A mystery!
Labor signs: No
Symptoms: Cramping, zings that I feel on my left side, fatigue, and some mild nausea
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Extremely happy, but I have cried easily this week.
Looking forward to: My doctor’s appointment next Friday!
Workouts: I completed week 15 of Kayla Itsines’ Bikini Body Guide as well as The Southern Yogi’s Ab’Asanas.

Week 5

How far along? 5 weeks!
Total weight gain: Nothing yet.
Maternity clothes? Nope!
Stretch marks? Nope
Best moment this week: Spending time with my little family outside.
Miss anything? Not getting up a bunch of times to pee at night
Movement: Nope
Food cravings: Still none yet.
Gender: A mystery!
Labor signs: No.
Symptoms: Some nausea, extreme fatigue, and spotting that has been going on for 3 days. I was put on a rest until my appointment.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy yet moody?
Looking forward to: My doctor’s appointment.
Workouts: I did one arm workout that I just created from some of my favorite arm moves from Kayla Itsines’ Bikini Body Guide. I felt really exhausted this week.
Week 6

How far along? 6 weeks!
Total weight gain: Nothing yet.
Maternity clothes? Nope!
Stretch marks? Nope
Best moment this week: My doctor’s appointment and my parents coming up to visit this weekend!
Miss anything? Again, not getting up a bunch of times to pee at night.
Movement: Nope
Food cravings: Salad! It’s unusual but I was really craving one when my hubby and I went out for dinner this Friday.
Gender: A mystery!
Labor signs: No.
Symptoms: Fatigue and Nausea hit an all time high this Saturday night. I almost vomited at work and felt nauseous all night and Sunday morning.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!
Looking forward to: My ultrasound this week to make sure everything is going well with baby because of the spotting. They want to ensure its not ectopic and all is well.
Workouts: I began Sia Cooper’s Fit for Two pregnancy workout program and am loving it so far!
Other: At my doctor’s appointment,  I discussed my workout plan with my doctor and I now feel comfortable working out because I now know what is safe for baby and I. I asked many questions of what I can and cannot do. Also, I was asked if I was interested and recommended me having weekly progesterone shots (P17) for this pregnancy since I had a spontaneous preterm birth with my daughter. She was born at 36 weeks and was completely healthy. I am currently doing research whether or not I’d consider the injections for this pregnancy. Have any of you had any experience with P17 or know anyone that has to prevent preterm labor? If so, I’d love to hear and learn more about it.
