Bump Update: Weeks 21 & 22

As you can tell, I have been on time and late with my bump posts. Life has been quite hectic these past two weeks in our house. Good news is that we have accomplished big things such as finding a wonderful groomer for our dog and purchasing a new chest freezer for all the meat we have from the half of cow we got a month ago. I’m ecstatic about the freezer because now I can meal prep and go crazy freezing ready to cook meals for winter!

How far along? 21 weeks

Total weight gain: 12 lbs according to my last appointment. I try to avoid the scales otherwise.

Maternity clothes? Maternity/nursing sleep bras to bed, sleeping with my belly wedge, Bellabands, hair ties for pants, and maternity shirts.

Stretch marks? Nope

Best moment this week: Seeing our baby girl again! This time the ultrasound tech was able to get the remaining pictures needed for our anatomy scan. Also, the tech gave Big Sister a picture of her baby sister to keep. Big Sister was sooooo excited and wanted me to hang it by her bed. She gives her sister kisses before bed each night.

Miss anything? Sleeping comfortably

Movement: Sooooo much movement going on!

Food cravings: Sweets

Gender: It’s a girl!!!!!!

Labor signs: No.

Symptoms: Fatigue and peeing a TON!

Wedding rings on or off? On.

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!

Looking forward to: Getting our big chest freezer for all this cow meat! I can’t wait to meal prep so I don’t have to worry about food when snow bunny arrives this winter. Plus, I need storage for breastmilk too!

Workouts: Yoga to relieve sciatic pain and walking.
